Contracted
Training Provision (CTP).
The ‘Contracted Training Provision’ (CTP) program
is administered by the NSW Department of Education and Training
and follows nationally-agreed strategies to expand vocational
Training opportunities relevant to industry needs, improve the
quality of the Training delivered, encourage increased investment
in Training, and maximise the value of public vocational Training
expenditure.
The main aims of the ‘Contracted Training Provision’
(CTP) program are to -
• encourage greater industry investment in vocational Training
• support training needs in new and emerging industries
facing restructure
• support disadvantaged groups in gaining access to training
and employment opportunities.
Training purchased under the CTP will be directly related to
immediate job opportunities, to upgrading the skills of existing
employees or to being the first stage of a broader program of
Training.
